69th ECSA HEALTH COMMUNITY CONFERENCE OPENS IN LUSAKA, ZAMBIA.

The Republic of Zambia is hosting the 69th East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA) Conference of Health Ministers.

The event which has opened in Lusaka today, the 19th will go through to the 21st of February 2020.

Vice President of the Republic of Zambia, Mrs Inonge Mutukwa Wina is officiating at the opening ceremony of the high level event.

The East, Central and Southern African Health Community (ECSA - HC) is an inter governmental health organisation that fosters and promotes regional cooperation in health among 9 member states.

The theme for the 2020 conference is "Innovation and Accountability in health towards achieving Universal Health Coverage.

The event has also attracted Members of the Diplomatic Corps, Senior Government Officials, the Civil Society and the Medical fraternity.
